Katie Montgomery
Katie has been in the beauty industry for 15 years. With a strong passion for making people feel and look their best, Katie knew as young as grade school she wanted a career in hair and makeup. After graduating from Grabber School of Hair Design, and earning her license she started right away at her first salon, where she went on to learn and receive another 8 months of training. Throughout her career she has attended numerous trainings and hair shows all around. She attended The Salon Association-symposium learning consultation skills, time management and maintaining knowledge of consumer trends. Also, attended Redken Fifth Ave Academy in New York, and many, many more! In 2008 she had the opportunity to attend a training with Alterna Haircare, and the chance to become an Educator for the well known brand. And this is where her and Sarah first met.

Sarah Lake
Sarah has been doing hair for 18 years. Growing up Sarah always had a knack for doing hair and makeup and even did her friends hair and makeup for homecoming and prom each year. She felt drawn to the industry, so right after high school she attended Current Trends Academy in St. Peters, MO. After starting at her first salon she received additional training from mentors in the industry such as senior stylist, makeup artist, & the salon owner, as well as industry classes and hands on training. She also attended the Summit Managers and Salon Owners training. As well as certified in Keratin Complex smoothing systems, and attended training in Las Vegas for Balmain hair extensions. In 2008 she had the opportunity to attend a training with Alterna Haircare and the chance to become an Educator for the well known brand. And this is where her and Katie first met.
